How To Convert From 7 to 6 Seat

What you will need from Honda or another van:

Bucket Seats
Floor Brackets for Seats
Seatbelts for Bucket Seats
Carpet from 6 Passenger Van

Tools:

Straight Slot Screwdriver
Phillips Screwdriver
Metric Socket Set and Wrench

Directions:

My directions and pictures will be slightly different then if you just got the parts from a junkyard or the dealership since I actually own a seven and six passenger van.  I wanted to convert mine (the blue one) from the 7 passenger version to the six passenger version (the green one, and the one my wife drives).

The first thing is to start taking all the seats out so that the carpet can be removed.  The reason for swapping in a different carpet is because the holes for the seat brackets are different sizes and in different locations.  Removing the middle seats from the 6 passenger is easy, just use the two quick release levers on the back of each and slide them out:

Taking the middle seats out of the 7 passenger is only slightly more difficult.  Slide the seats all the way back and remove the two bolts that hold the front of the rails in place, then slide the seats all the way forward and remove the two bolts that hold the back of the rails in place.

Your going to follow pretty much the same procedure to remove the front seats from both vans.
